Little Uvas Creek (Melchor Ranch) Picnic, 5/21/17 by Ronald Horii
This was the event on 5/21/17 at Little Uvas Creek Preserve (aka Melchor Ranch):

Teddy Bear Picnic
Sunday, May 21, 2017
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Little Uvas Creek Open Space Preserve
16541 Uvas Road, Morgan Hill

Come enjoy a leisurely nature day in a beautiful little preserve with three beautiful ponds, many wild birds, bobcats, deer and horses. On this special day, please bring your teddy bear, or favorite stuffed friend, a package picnic blanket, and a family picnic lunch. We will lead you on a nature walk to our picnic site by a pond. Be ready to carry your supplies 1 mile to the spot where we will eat. We will share stories about the local wildlife along the way. Families are welcome!

The hike was led by docents Doug Greer and Craige Edgerton (and me), with help from Teri Rogoway, OSA Educational Programs Coordinator.

I took the pictures below with my Olympus OMD E-M10 and a 14-42mm lens, except as noted.
