Little Uvas Creek (Melchor Ranch), 4/28/17 by Ronald Horii
I got special permission to accompany fellow docent Cait Hutnik on a visit to Little Uvas Creek Preserve (aka Melchor Ranch). It is not open to the public yet, but is accessible on guided hikes and to docents with permission. A week earlier, I helped to lead a group of artists on a hike in the preserve:

It was the first time I'd been there in the spring and was amazed at the wildflowers there. I came back to shoot more pictures.
