Little Uvas Creek Preserve (Melchor Ranch), 4/22/17 by Ronald Horii
On 4/22/17, Open Space Authority docents Cait Hutnik, Atul Chaudhari, and I led a hike for a group of artists at Little Uvas Creek Preserve, originally known as the Melchor Ranch. It's not open to the public yet, but it can be visited on docent-guided hikes. I've been there 3 times previously:

During those hikes, the wildflowers were past their peak. This time, they were at or close to their peak. Also, the ponds were full, as was Uvas Reservoir. Here are pictures from the hike:
