Coyote Ridge HPHP Hike 4/19/17 by Ronald Horii
On 4/19/17, I went on the last of the Healthy Parks, Healthy People hikes at Coyote Ridge for this season. Here's the description of the hike: "Our newest preserve, Coyote Ridge, is known for its beautiful wildflower season. Join us for a gentle 1.5-mile round trip walk along a ranch road that winds through the amazing wildflowers. This Healthy People, Healthy Parks experience is for those interested in gentle exercise and observing wildflowers rather than a long, strenuous hike." It was at the end of the wildflower season, so they were past their peak. Still, we did see wildflowers and some beautiful scenery.
This is from the hike here earlier in the season on 3/29/17, when there were more wildflowers out: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1377570765599775.1073742180.100000405933924&type=1&l=650f89e201
