Redondo Beach Fun Factory, 3/3/17 by Ronald Horii
I was born a few miles from Redondo Beach and have been going there since I was a baby. Even though I don't live there any more, it's one of my favorite places to go when I'm in the LA area. One of the most entertaining places to visit in Redondo Beach is the Fun Factory. It's a huge arcade, with a wide variety of games from vintage to new. It's almost like a game museum. I've been there many times over the years. My kids have enjoyed it. My son and I visited it when we were down in LA. We marveled at all the games, which brought back fond memories for both of us, but saw some bad news. Unfortunately for those who are fans of it, the Fun Factory will be closing: http://www.dailybreeze.com/government-and-politics/20170118/redondo-beach-to-buy-out-fun-factory-for-9-million
