Lexington Spilling Into Los Gatos Creek 1/24/17 by Ronald Horii
With all the rain we've had this season, Lexington Reservoir is overflowing and spilling into Los Gatos Creek. I went up to the reservoir and followed the water flowing into the creek.
Here's a video from the last time Lexington spilled, on 3/27/11: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WdMwAao4L8&feature=g-upl&context=G20dbceaAUAAAAAAAAAA
In contrast, this is Lexington nearly empty in 2008. The remnants of the ghost towns of Lexington and Alma emerged: http://www.rhorii.com/Lexington/Lex.html
It happened again in 2014: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.834730063217184.1073741868.100000405933924&type=1&l=a49b8eaef9 — at Lexington Reservoir. (near Lexington Reservoir)
