Rancho San Vicente Trail Day, 11/19/16 by Ronald Horii
On 11/19/16, there was a trail work day at the Rancho San Vicente addition to Calero County Park. Volunteers assembled at the new staging area along McKean Road between Fortini and Rakstad Roads. They worked on the new trail, currently half-cut, which runs along the hillsides of Rancho San Vicente, overlooking McKean Road. It will eventually connect to the Cottle Trail in Calero. The park trail crew has been building 30 miles of new trails in Calero. They started in April 2016 and are expected to open at least some of the trails to the public in April 2017.
