Lumination at Gilroy Gardens, 10/2/16 by Ronald Horii
I took my family to Gilroy Gardens on 10/2/16. I've never been to Gilroy Gardens because when it opened, my kids were too old for it. Its rides and attractions are mostly geared for kids under 12. There's a new temporary exhibit called Lumination: http://luminationgilroy.org/
It consists of 30 huge light displays, based on traditional Chinese lantern festivals and made by Chinese craftsmen. Illumination is open from 6 to 10 pm, after the park closes. The park rides are closed. We got there at 6, before sunset, and were able to see some of the displays before dark, then saw them again after dark.

Here's a story about it: http://www.gilroydispatch.com/news/gilroy-gardens-is-lighting-up-the-city/article_dde9b7b8-2dd5-11e6-8f77-bbb9ab4b1bdd.html

They're wonderful both ways, aren't they! But I found them to be doubly wonderful after dark.
