On 9/24/16, the annual Chitactac Family Day was held at Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park. This is the description of the event: "Come celebrate with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band of the Ohlone Nation. Discover the heritage of the people who once lived at this ancient village site. Participate in hands on activities, learn to make traditional crafts and watch unique demonstrations. This event is free and appropriate for families and all ages. Food available for purchase. Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park is located at 10001 Watsonville Road, Gilroy. "
