The Loma Fire, 9/26/16 by Ronald Horii
The Loma fire started on the Loma Prieta Ridge in the Santa Cruz Mountains, near Loma Prieta and Loma Chiquita Roads, above Rancho Canada Del Oro Open Space Preserve. I could see the fire from my house. I went to different parts of the Santa Teresa Hills to get a better view. Here are some pictures. As of Monday night, the fire had burned over 1000 acres and was only 5% contained.
