On 8/27/16, State Assemblymember Mark Stone and County Supervisor Mike Wasserman sponsored a breakfast celebration at the Casa Grande, the Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum, in New Almaden. This was the invitation from Mark Stone:
You are invited to join me, California State Assemblymember Mark Stone, and Santa Clara County Supervisor Mike Wasserman in spending the day enjoying and celebrating a local favorite, the Almaden Quicksilver County Park. Join us for breakfast and conversations, as well as guided tours of Casa Grande and the town of New Almaden.
