My son and I went to the Bricks By the Bay Lego event at the Santa Clara Convention Center on 8/21/16. It was huge, with hundreds of Lego creations on display. This one stood out. It's called "Metalbeard's Sea Haus and Sea Garten." It was inspired by the character Metalbeard in the "Lego Movie." It won "Best of Show" and "Best Small Team Build" for large displays. It was built by a 16-year-old and his mom. It was an amazing creation that drew big crowds to watch it. This could be a prototype for a ride or a whole land at Disneyland or Legoland.
