Tuesday August 2 was National Night Out. National Night Out is a crime and drug prevention event that is sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the San Jose Police Department. I went to 4 of these events. The last was at Basking Ridge Park, organized by the City of San Jose in the Basking Ridge neighborhood. Here are pictures from that event, which was the smallest of the 4 that I saw.
