Fowler Creek Park and Neighborhood Paths, 6/23/16 by Ronald Horii
On 6/23/16, I was in the Evergreen and decided to check out a park that I hadn't been to. It was Fowler Creek Park in East San Jose. It's a nice park in a fairly new neighborhood. It's also near a network of landscaped walking paths that run throughout the neighborhood. This is an example of creating pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods that encourage walking and outdoor activities. The extensive landscaping is irrigated using recycled water, so it's less affected by the drought. Here's information about Fowler Creek Park: https://www.sanjoseca.gov/Facilities/Facility/Details/Fowler-Creek-Park-117
The neighborhood mini-parks and walkways are maintained by the City of San Jose. — at Fowler Creek Park. (near Fowler Creek Park)
