Nature Photography Hike, Coyote Valley OSP 6/11/16 by Ronald Horii
On 6/11/16, I taught a nature photography class and led a hike at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. This is the first time I've given this class for the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority (OSA). I've been giving outdoor photography classes for the Santa Clara County Parks for many years: http://www.rhorii.com/#photo. I modified my presentation from those classes and came up with new materials.
The class was publicized on the OSA's Meetup.com group:

34 people signed up, plus several of my friends and fellow docents came. I also had my son, Chris Horii helping me. He took most of the pictures below, since I was too busy talking and leading the hike. I took some pictures with my Olympus OMD E-M10 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera and my Canon SX260HS travelzoom compact. All of these pictures are Chris', except as indicated. If I took it with my Olympus OMD, they will be labeled with "OMD." If I took it with my Canon travelzoom, they will be marked with "SX260." — at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve.
