2015 Agricultural Drainage Project Underway от King Conservation District
Excavation is underway on the first of a series of projects being planned for this summer by King Conservation District and the King County Agricultural Drainage Assistance Program (ADAP). The season's first project is on a dairy in the Snoqualmie Valley where the drainage ditches have been clogged for more than twenty years, flooding a 60-acre field.

With the support of funding from the King County Flood Control District, KCD is assisting with landowner outreach, project facilitation, and drainage project costs. The drainage program is contributing to the King County Local Food Initiative's goal of increasing agricultural production by 400 acres per year for the next ten years.
