Santa Teresa Wildflower Hike, Stile-Fortini 4/30/16 by Ronald Horii
On 4/30/16, Friends of Santa Teresa Park President Mike Boulland and I led a wildflower hike on the Stile Ranch, Mine, and Fortini Trails in Santa Teresa Park. While some wildflowers were past their peak, others were peaking or just starting. There was a mountain bike demo in the park at the time, so there were lots of mountain bikers on the trail. We frequently stopped and stepped aside to let them pass, but they were polite and careful. We didn't have any problems with the bikes or other trail users. We started a little after 9:00 and got back near 12:00. It was a good hike, with great views. — at Santa Teresa County Park. (near Santa Teresa County Park)
