Rancho San Vicente Hike, 4/3/16 by Ronald Horii
I went on the first of this year's County Parks public hikes in the 966-acre Rancho San Vicente addition to Calero County Park. It's a recent addition to Calero, but is not yet open to the public. It's only open for guided hikes like this one. I had already scouted it out with fellow docents Cait Hutnik and Woody Collins last month: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1063917636965091.1073742024.100000405933924&type=1&l=1849dc1373
The wildflowers were starting to come out then. Now, they are at or near their peak. For more on Rancho San Vicente, see: http://www.stpfriends.org/RSV_04-17-10/Hike.html
See the park calendar on parkhere.org website for the schedule of future hikes.
