Anza Expedition Hike, Santa Teresa Park, 3/19/16 by Ronald Horii
On 3/19/16, there was an Anza Expedition hike at Santa Teresa County Park. It was led by National Park Service ranger Daniel Sanchez, who has been leading these hikes at other parks (see below). His office in San Francisco administers the Juan Bautista de Anza National Trail: http://www.nps.gov/juba/index.htm
Accompanying the group was County Parks docent Mike Boulland, president of the Friends of Santa Teresa Park. The hike began at the Pueblo Day Use area and went up to Coyote Peak via the Puelbo, Hidden Springs, and Coyote Peak Trails. This route is part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail. http://www.ridgetrail.org/santa-teresa-county-park-and-los-alamitos-calero-creek-trail
