Coyote Lake Wildflower Walk 3/21/15, Part 2 by Ronald Horii
This is a continuation of my Coyote Lake Wildflower Walk on 3/21/15. It continues from Part 1: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1052196694803852.1073742013.100000405933924&type=1&l=d010d0ad60 and continues in Part 3: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1052199718136883.1073742015.100000405933924&type=1&l=cec9612d7b
After the hike to the serpentine area on the Calaveras Trail, the group split up. I followed part of the group to the Coyote Ridge Trail, but I did it as a solo hike. I followed the Coyote Ridge Trail north to the Harvey Bear Trail and made a side trip to the Ed Willson Trail. I paid special attention to the lupines on the Coyote Ridge Trail and the big-scale balsamroots on the Ed Willson Trail. — at Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch. (near Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch)
