Hike to Coyote Peak, Santa Teresa Park, 2/4/16 by Ronald Horii
On a clear sunny day in February, I went for a hike up to Coyote Peak in Santa Teresa Park. I started at the Pueblo Day Use Area, hiked up the Hidden Springs Trail to the Coyote Peak Trail, which I took to reach the peak. I took a little side trip to peek down the Boundary Trail before heading back. I did a similar hike on 11/25/16: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1010399868983535.1073741986.100000405933924&type=1&l=c8dc790540
Notice the differences. Compared to then, the hills were a lot greener and there were wildflowers emerging on this hike. Also, the pond on the Hidden Springs Trail was dry in November. It's full now. — at Santa Teresa County Park. (near Santa Teresa County Park)
