Thanks for all the wishes everyone. I sent cupcakes to school and I think I'm going to get a Gigi's cupcake for each of us for tonight. I got him a Casio keyboard because I heard he was interested in the keyboard at school and it was reasonably priced. If he doesn't like it, I will drag out my old piano practice books and teach myself how to play again.
