I hiked the entire Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve on 12/18/15 in advance of a coming storm. It had rained in previous weeks, enough to turn the hills and valleys a lush green, but not enough to make the trails muddy. Here are pictures showing how the preserve looked at this time.
