Demo of DEKRA Truck Driving Simulator @ 81st ITC Session 19/02/19 by UNECE
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to drive a high-end truck? A state-of-the-art truck driver training simulator demo at the 81st session of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee, courtesy of DEKRA makes this possible.
Putting the focus on road safety, the experience simulates real driving situations and dangers including changing weather conditions, technical difficulties and other incidents. This is also a chance to experience the concrete impact of the UN Inland Transport Conventions developed at UNECE, covering areas including road safety (vehicle construction, traffic rules, road signs etc.); the transport of dangerous goods (the chemical warning symbols you see on trucks and hazardous products), cross-border transport of goods by road (with the famous “TIR” trucks) and much more.
