I own a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my jeep has 37,000 miles on it and my TIPM (total intergrated power module) is failing. My jeep won't start after it has been sitting for a few hours and takes many attempts before it will. I decided to do some research on this issue before taking it in and found that this issue has thousands upon thousands of people complaining about the same thing. Jeep needs to get it together and put out a recall i would suggest that you do not buy this year jeep! I have loved my jeep from day one and I still do but it is so unfortunate that jeep has not taken care of this issue. All of this can be found on edmuns.com and several forums. My family has been jeep lovers for as long as I can remember but this is unacceptable. There are also many people complaining that their jeeps have stalled on them in traffic because of this issue. I have a baby and my number one priority is his safety and right now I do not feel like Jeep is doing a good job with that either. This has been an ongoing issue that I hope gets resolved as soon as possible!

Yesh Jason Fonner seriously how much do they pay to go from thread to thread defending all of Jeeps mistakes. You've been doing it what seems like daily for as far back as I can remember. And if there not paying you to defend there tarnishing of the Jeep name then I would love to know what drugs your on.

Everyone thought the cherokee was super ugly in the beginning. Now so many people are buying it! Im seeing a lot of them. I have grown to like it as well

I miss the days when jeep looked and drove like a jeep. Only 1 looks 4th the others look like Kia want a bei suv might as well call a mini van

The last Cherokee was made in 2001. The new ones are trailhawks. Period. Lets just end the confusion and disappointment.

I'm not sure how I feel about a Wrangler change. In one hand its been the same for nearly ten years and has (a little) room for improvement. But on the other hand I'd bet Chrysler/Fiat will mess it up. They will make it too cartoonlike or plasticky. If anything it should be closer, rather than further, to the CJ. An option besides V6 would be nice though, both bigger and smaller.

The new cherokee IS ugly. The headlights and grill are awful. If they wanted to try something radical, they should have done it to a lesser model.
