One of my all-time faves is Bruce Campbell. And to meet and photograph Bruce ... along with Lucy Lawless was beyond being a treat. It was a ton or fun!
Bruce returns to series TV with a reincarnation of his low-budget horror film cult classic 'Evil Dead' on the Starz network.
Like shooting the beautiful Kerry Washington, making a portrait of Bruce Campbell is pretty easy. You just wind him up and let him go!
But the rapport between Bruce and Lucy was pretty amazing as the photos of the two of them show. The last photo in this gallery is ... gasp! ... a frame grab from a video file.
Tech Note: Camera - Nikon D810; Lens - Nikkor 24-70mm; ligting was with my trusty Dynalite Uni 400jr into a Photek Softliter II.

Before there was 'Sam Ax' and 'Burn Notice' ... there was 'The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. and 'Evil Dead' (filmed with college buddy Sam Sam Raimi). While we were waiting for Lucy to finish getting a hair & makeup touch-up, I was talking to Bruce and I said: "You know ... my favorite of yours is ..." Before I could finish the question he pointed at me and said: "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." I replied: Hey...how'd you know?" And Bruce said: "You're about the ....hmmmm ... right age to remember that one."
