Awesome show of support for the Sisters of the Poor and a moment of solidarity for our church. Very proud of him for this public show of support. This visit was no accident. There is a message here to Obama.

From the White House to the Little Sisters of the Poor spotlights the administration request for them to provide birth control. He is a wise one.

I hope that this impromptu visit will inspire all of us to not to forget that they are fighting for their religious freedom!! Please pray for them & ask our Government to stop their threats on them, leave them to do their missions to care for the elderly poor. Exempt them from having to pay for contraceptions and abortion devices. They are God's representatives here on earth, so how can they possibly do what our Government wants them to, they can not!.

Sayang I missed d Pope! I'll HV volunteer service at the Little Sisters on Friday with my sister,who is so blessed to be chosen to serve at d Basilica in Washington DC during the Pope's visit.

I agree with you Sylvia. I too have been following him. I think if we all follow what he has said we would be a better world. He is very inspiring to all of us.

I know this sisters , they are best in town, Pookie Callanito Family are always helping them, special at Christmas time!

Amazing! He rocks! What a great and strong message he is sending to you know who lol. And I loved watching him speak to congress. He stood up for the babies and it made my day!

I spent a good part of the morning watching Pope Francis addressing Congress. What a blessing he is for all of us. May we be inspired by his message.

Well, Mr Obama, if you have been so careful, as you claimed in your speech to the Holy Father, to protect our freedom of religion, then why must the Little Sisters sue you in order to protect their freedom to live and work as Catholics? In his own quiet and gentle way, I think our Holy Father just called you out in your lie.

We cannot ask for more ! He is really a good leader to mankind. I hope as followers, we understand what he is showing us. I would say he shows, humility & care for neighbours as God wants us to do. A great man, indeed.

Don't worry sisters, God always prevails, and He is always on time - never late.

The Little Sisters of the Poor have amazing care for the elderly. They do phenomenal work with such gentle care. Thank you Cincinnati Little Sisters of the Poor for taking great care of Mom.

I was so BLESSED yesterday to have the day off work and be able to hear the Pope say mass from the comfort of my living room
