International Muslim Women Union's statement on the abolition of school girls in Boron state, Nigeria 5/5/2014
IMWU is extremely concerned by the recent abduction some 100, 12-17years old girl who were taken from their school hostels in Chibouk, Boron state, in Nigeria on the night 14th April.
We strongly condemn and abhor such act of transgression of the rights of the innocent girls.
Whoever is responsible to such unlawful act, we urge to release them if they have not done that yet. Girls and women a live have their God given rights to live away form of discrimination.
We in IMWU firm against such behavior and hope the plight of these innocent girls has ended.
