Food Justice Books for Ethical Holiday Eating von Unitarian Universalist Association
In choosing ethical eating as a movement-wide focus of study in 2008, Unitarian Universalists acknowledged the importance of the moral dimensions of our food choices. These choices are all the more important during the winter holidays, as meals are shared among family and friends. Here are some books from your UUA Bookstore to help you eat more ethically this holiday season.

Never been one I've been enthusiastic about. This has been enacted in our congregation in ways that make you NEVER want to bring food to a potluck for fear of judgment. Just one of the ways we UUs focus in on elitist concerns and miss the big picture. Worrying about things not being local, organic, produced by unexploited labor, etc. is a WAY 1st world problem. I love being a UU, but I think we seriously need to think about how these study issues are likely to play out.

I would like to see more on food justice especially regarding the humane treatment of farmed animals.
