Continuing on with our #retrospective series, today we are highlighting the work that we did for Godzilla (1998 film).
The movie, directed by Roland Emmerich, starred Matthew Broderick & Jean Reno. For this project both Matthew Gratzner and Ian Hunter shared the Miniature Effects Supervisor credit.
For the project we fabricated a 1:24 scale Flatiron and Chrysler Buildings for pyro and mechanical destruction. In addition we built two 1:24 scale Chrysler domes for "street drop" sequence, and a 1:24 scale New York building storefront and park.
