Today, for our #retrospective series, we are covering a big and dear project for us: Alien Resurrection.
The movie, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, starred Sigourney Weaver & Winona Ryder. Matthew Gratzner was the Miniature Effects Supervisor and Art Director, while Ian Hunter was the Miniature Effects Photography Supervisor.
For the project we designed and fabricated all miniatures, including the Auriga and Betty Spaceships, and shot all photography effects. Betty survived production and found a last resting place here at our studio.

Great work. Those were some effing spectacular miniatures. Glad to have caught it in the theatre (as with all 'Alien' films) even while I was being told 'wait for the dvd' by people who had seen it. Good movie - never understood the hate.
