i have a great suggestion for the contract negotiations for shoprite ,stop & shop and pathmark of staten island. the part time workers such as clerks cashiers ect... should be offered full time positions after at least 1 year on the job. i am a retired new york city transit bus operator from staten island. a proud member of local 726 ATU for 28 years. i think this would be a wonderful idea. it would give the workers something to look forward to. a career position at full time wages $11.25hr. to start and full time benefits. plus a more focused and dedicated work force. thanks for listening
