ACDP Mpumalanga is moving forward! by ACDP
The Mpumalanga province had a wonderful Provincial General Conference (PGC) over the weekend. It was held at Syabuswa Dr JS Moroka. They elected a new Provincial leader, who is now the youngest provincial leader in the ACDP: Mandla Shabalala. Mandla is excited to keep the province vibrant. He has been involved in politics from a young age and in the ACDP he has risen through the ranks of the youth, before focusing on mother body politics.
A new PEC chair was also elected: Angelo Arendse, along with a new PC chair: Michael Letsoalo. Jan Rusouw was elected deputy chair, and PK Mahlangu was elected as secretary general. The new election Manager is Thulane Ivin Mahlangu. Tryphinah Mabilane is the new treasurer for the province. ACDP MP Mrs Cheryllyn Dudley was also in attendance to encourage branch representatives on the vision of the ACDP. It is an exciting time for this new PEC as they will lead their province into an election next year.
