I went down there last year and I loved it!

Love it! Jack was there with CP&L in a nice condo for a year, I was still working so went there on weekends til I retired in July that year then went, stayed, became a beach bum, slug. Loved it.

We will be there next wkend! Hope to see someone famous!!!

13years til my husband retires and our house in on the market and we will be island bound!! I have never found a place where I was as at home as Oak Island!!

Gonna look really good with all the trash on the beaches that the town won't clean up. Great impression of NC

My family was there the second week of June and we met Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough on the beach Saturday everning. They were "super nice" to us. We talked about 15 minutes and they let us take some pictures. She was there for the filming of "Safe Haven".

My granddaughters met them also. Have pictures with the dogs. Very nice folks.

Are the turtles and other wildlife being protected? They are some of the things that make Oak Island so precious.
