while selling the new figure set.. why don't you also sell the extension set for the owner of the old mark I separately?? i mean like the head, fire, and the stand base.. because this one overcome the older one in every way.. so why still collect the old one? better just buy the new one and throw the old one in the gargabe? don't you guys think so?

2.0 is a so so idea. you should release DX series for mark I, then nobody will say nothing.

I just pre-order this. Thank you, HT. I am so glad that I don't need to pay huge amount for such good one from the scalpers. And this is my 20th HT figures. I respect your decision to produce whatever you want. We, as fans, will buy what we like. You will get more new fans and customers. Once again, good work!!

The figure looks great, but come on... another Iron Man figure? Not a fan of Hot Toys re-releasing figures. But if you're going to remake a figure, how about you do the much older figures that actually need it, like the Rambo, Rocky, or Aliens figures since they look like shit compared to today's figure sculpts? Stop milking the Iron Man figures and move on to other figure licenses. Hell, I'd like to see a Clint Eastwood figure from Jose Wales, or Denzel Washington from Training Day, Sylvester Stallone from Judge Dredd, Westley Snipes from Demolition Man, Mel Gibson from Mad Max, Tom Cruise from Mission Impossible... The point is, We don't need 15 figures from Iron Man, cock suckers!

Does anyone actually know the differences between the V1 and V2 of this? other than the new head sculpt, base and fire bits.

@Mark Hawkins, in Singapore where I live now, Mark 1 is going for S$1200 brand new. That's around US$700, I do not want to pay for this is because I know it is way overpriced, just like the tumbler which is going for S$2000 now. I am waiting for new license announcement just as much as you, good sir. Like X-men First Class and the new Spider Man movie. But this shows that HT really knows what is going on and gave some love to the fans of the products :)

I really want to get this one...but there are so many batman stuff coming out!!!........but I will try though.....>:-)

@Vincent Chan - I hear you. Believe it or not, overall the Spider-Man franchise has been a bigger money maker than Batman & Iron Man, so it would be great to see Hot Toys showing the Spidey movie franchise the same love. I'm looking for Hot Toys to do Doc Ock, Sandman, Green Goblin & Venom figures down the line.
