Fall Hike on the Arrowhead Loop Trail, Coyote Valley OSP 11/20/15 by Ronald Horii
Yesterday, I hiked the north part of the Arrowhead Loop Trail in Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve counter-clockwise: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1005639932792862.1073741981.100000405933924&type=1&l=d5ee0f0076. Today, I decided to come back and hike the whole trail clockwise, which is about a 4-mile hike. This time, I brought my serious camera with me, an Olympus OMD OM10 with a polarizing filter. I came to see how the recent rains have affected the preserve and its trails. The hills and meadows are turning green with grass. The trails are OK so far, but are a little soft in places. If we get a lot of rain, they can get muddy. There's a hike scheduled here on 11/28 and a little bit of rain predicted earlier in the week. It should be OK.
