Fall Hike in Coyote Valley OSP, 11/19/15 by Ronald Horii
On 11/19/15, I went for a hike in the Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. I didn't have time to hike the whole Arrowhead Trail, but I went about 1/3 of the way on the west side up to the picnic tables. The last time I was here, the hills and meadows were completely brown. Now, after a few brief rainstorms, the land is turning green. I was curious to see how the new Arrowhead Trail has stood up to the wet weather, with a lot more predicted to come this winter. Here are pictures from the hike. All of these pictures were taken with my little Canon SX260HS travelzoom compact. — at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. (near Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve)
