To all my friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and associates, Life After Hate needs your help.

We are a small, volunteer group of first-line extremism responders, and the ONLY group in North America currently helping people actively leave hate groups, extremist violence, and racism behind for more positive lives.
Prevention and intervention cost money, and so far we've managed to use mostly our own personal money to fund our operations. We can't afford to do that anymore and we need your help. If everyone I know, or have done favors for in the past, would kindly either donate a few dollars or help by reposting this call for action, I'm certain we could reach this goal in no time.
Please consider helping or kicking in a few dollars (maybe skip that Starbucks Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte for the day). It would really mean a lot to us and the folks we work with.

This $5000 would go directly to programs to disengage many young people from violent and racist ideologies. Your generous donation will be well spent. Thank you.

“Afterwards, I asked: ‘Who am I now?’”: How it feels to escape the far right

On the upper side of Lauren Manning’s neck, you can just about make out four slightly red patches of skin. These are the remnants of a tattoo she had done when she was 18, which read “1488”. A white supremacist symbol, “14” stands, Manning said, for the 14-word phrase “We must secure the...

Tomorrow represents another grim anniversary.

The 10.27 Healing Partnership has worked closely with other organizations planning activities and volunteer opportunities for the day, culminating in a virtual commemoration at 7pm.
