We have tabled a cross-party motion of no confidence in the Government.

If Jeremy Corbyn adds his name, this vote will happen before Christmas.

The Liberal Democrats will continue to demand a People's Vote and the chance to Exit from Brexit, as we have for two years.

why would a leader of the opposition have confidence in the PM anyway. Isn't the whole point of being in opposition that you think the PM should be replaced.

But you know perfectly well it won’t pass – just look at how the Tories rallied behind May when Corbyn proposed no confidence motion in PM May despite a few days ago wanting her out as party leader! So, knowing this, what’s the point? Is it actually a strategy to encourage a second vote? If that’s what you really want, then why not table a motion to that effect? The govt winning a vote of no confidence would only strengthen the Tories, and we don’t want that.

Why should Labour table a no confidence vote before the meaningful vote on May's withdrawal deal? The Lib Dems won't get a referendum unless Labour MP's are going to vote for it and that will involve postponing Article 50 beyond March 29th.

Let them take the egg on their faces, then Corbyn can do it when they lose the meaningful vote. Patience is a virtue, not a sign of weakness. We've had enough of a leader with bluster and tactless Ness. That's what got us here in the first place.

We need to ask: How come its, on the face of it, easier for women in sport to come out vs bi- and gay men? Especially in soccer? I don't want anyone to feel forced out, especially if that means their family might be at risk e.g. if they're from a conservative nation/community etc. but its 2021 & the British Army has had trans-officers winning medals & honours.

Surely its not beyond the wit of humanity for society to accept an "out" gay or bi professional soccer player, in England, in the top-4 divisions?!

An extract outlining the situation in Scotland,
Scotland (the UK’s largest fishing nation, with two-thirds of all quota):

In Scotland, the concentration of fishing rights in the hands of Rich List families is even more acute. Five families on the Sunday Times Rich List own or control a third (33%) of all Scottish quota. When taking into account minority stakes, companies wholly or partly owned by these families hold close to half (45%) of all Scottish quota.

Plus of course a lot of UK quotas I believe were sold off -£160m worth of England's fishing quota is in the hands of vessels owned by companies based in Iceland, Spain and the Netherlands, according to BBC research.

After all the talk about Quota(S) I simply had to look this up lol The plural form of the noun "quota" is simply the regular "quotas." Unlike other borrowings from Latin and Greek like "data," "quota" was not originally a plural form in its source language, and thus there is no justification (aside from the force of analogy) to treat "quota" as a plural in any way.14 Sept 2016

So it appears Boris Johnson’s comments on looking after the fishing industry were again all fabricated.
Bozo the clown made one agreement with the EU which is open to review, and then claimed the French have no right to access U.K. waters.
If we have Sold the EU fishing quotas we have to oblige and give them access.
