About Koyaa
Koyaa, an optimistic active young mountain fellow, lives on a rocky mountain ledge high above the clouds together with his trusty old friend, the Raven. Everyday objects around him keep coming to life in imaginative ways causing Koyaa trouble. He responds with slapstick activities, creating many comical situations. At first, Koyaa tries to solve problems in obvious ways, but when that doesn't work he uses his imagination to find a clever solution.
Meanwhile, the calm Raven is focused on his hobby, the construction of birdhouses. He represents a calm and wise grandfather figure and doesn't get involved in Koyaa's activities no matter how much the noisy events and confusion made by Koyaa keep interrupting him.The patient Raven only responds with amicable grumbling and he always makes sure Koyaa is OK before going back to his work.
When things are finally back in order, Koyaa ends up happily tugging his trouser suspenders and whistling.
The narrative of the series focuses on Koyaa who encounters animated objects in various imaginative roles, similar to how children do when they are playing.
