Την Παρασκευή 21 Σεπτεμβρίου ο Ζακ Κωστόπουλος, ακτιβιστής του ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ κινήματος, οροθετικός, αντιφασίστας και drag queen (Zackie Oh) δολοφονήθηκε βάναυσα στο κέντρο της Αθήνας σε δημόσια θέα. Η δολοφονία δια λιντσαρίσματος έγινε από «αγανακτισμένους πολίτες» με την ανοχή και τη σύμπραξη ανδρών της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας. Στη συνέχεια ακολούθησε μια πρωτοφανής επιχείρηση συγκάλυψης της δολοφονίας, παραπληροφόρησης και ενοχοποίησης του θύματος. Η δολοφονία του Ζακ ήταν μια πράξη βαρβαρότητας και κοινωνικού εκφασισμού. Απαιτούμε την απόδοση δικαιοσύνης. Θα αγωνιστούμε για να τιμωρηθούν οι ένοχοι. Θα αγωνιστούμε ενάντια στο φασισμό και την «κανονικότητα». Οι ζωές μας έχουν αξία.

On Friday, September 21, Zak Kostopoulos, an activist of the LGBTIQ+ movement, HIV positive, antifascist and drag queen (Zackie Oh), was brutally assassinated in the center of Athens in public view. The murder was instigated by "outraged citizens" with the tolerance and accomplicity of men of the Greek Police. It was followed by an unprecedented operation of covering up the murder, misinforming the public, and re-victimizing the victim. The murder of Zak was an act of barbarism and growing fascism. We demand justice. We will fight until those who are guilty of Zak's murder are punished. We will fight against fascism and "normativity". Our lives matter.
Vendredi 21 Septembre 2018, Zak Kostopoulos, activiste LGBTQI+, séropositif, antifasciste et drag queen (Zackie Oh), a été assassiné dans des circonstances atroces et à la vue de tous dans le centre d'Athènes. Ce lynchage est le fait de «citoyens indignés»* qui ont agi sous la protection et avec le concours de la police grecque. Ces faits ont été suivis d'une entreprise sans précédent visant à étouffer l'affaire, à désinformer le public et à présenter la victime comme le véritable coupable. Le meurtre de Zak est un acte barbare et témoigne d'un processus de fascisation généralisée. Nous exigeons que justice soit rendue. Nous nous battrons pour que les coupables soient condamnés. Nous nous battrons contre le fascisme et contre la «normalité». Nos vies comptent.
