Introversion Software is one of the UK's most-respected and successful independent game developers and publishers. Founded in 2001 by three university students, they have gone on to create seven critically acclaimed video games including cult classics Uplink, DEFCON, Darwinia, Multiwinia and Scanner Somber. Achieving a whopping audience of over 3M players, Prison Architect was their most successful project thus far. In 2023 the boys successfully launched The Last Starship - a starship builder set in a procedurally generated universe - into Early Access and received a "very positive" aggregate review score on steam.
