🦃It may be hard to get a whole turkey here in Hungary, but that doesn’t mean we have to miss out entirely! Here is a modern take on the traditional Thanksgiving turkey recipe for you to enjoy—and no mess in the kitchen to clean up afterward. Though this year's Thanksgiving won't look quite the same, as many families and friends instead celebrate together virtually, it's still a day to give thanks. Happy Thanksgiving! 🥧✨
Garlic Herb Roasted Turkey Breast Recipe with Orange

🍗 1 whole bone-in turkey breast
🍗 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
🍗 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary leaves
🍗 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves
🍗 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh sage leaves
🍗 2 tsp. salt
🍗 1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
🍗 2 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
🍗 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
🍗 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
🍗 2 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
🍗 1/2 cup chicken broth
🍗 1 orange, sliced
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 °F. Put turkey breast, skin-side up in a heavy roasting pan or baking dish, preferably on a rack. Stir garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, pepper, olive oil and the mustard together to form a paste. Spread half of the paste under its skin, and the other half outside of the turkey. Pour the orange juice, lemon juice, and chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan. Put some orange slices in the pan too. 🍊 Roast the turkey for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the skin is golden brown. You can use an internal thermometer to check the temperature, when it registers 165 degrees, it’s done. Let is stand at room temperature for ten minutes, then slice the meat and serve it with the pan juices. As a side dish you can make delicious mashed potatoes. 🥔
Enjoy your meal! 🍽 #Thanksgiving #Turkeymenu
