1. Decorum and Etiquette - Maintain a basic level of courteousness in discourse. We are all adults here, so it is okay to be blunt or provocative with each other in conversation or debate. That said, excessive personal attacks, bullying, or harassment will not be tolerated.
2. Posting - Keep it RPG related. No off topic discussion or links. Current controversial topics such as politics, identity, entitlements, and religion should be avoided except for where they directly relate to a modern setting in a game. No pornography.
3. Advertising - RPG related content is allowed to be advertised, within reason. If it starts to look spammy or exploitative, you will be approached.
4. Google Block - Blocking OSG members on Google or Hangouts prohibits you from participating in Community Hangouts and OSG Events. It isn't fair to exclude people from Hangouts and Events simply because one person in said event has blocked them.
Violation of these rules will result in the following escalation:
1. Direct Message
2. Warning from a mod.
3. 24 hour mute.
4. Second warning and 24 hour mute.
5. Turned on post approval and 24 hour mute.
6. Third and final warning accompanied by a max period mute.
7. BAN.
There won't be appeals because of the lengthy process required to receive a ban.
This group is first and foremost about you, the community. Play games, network, and fall in love with the hobby.
In the spirit of this, I offer you the OSG promise:
-The admin and mods will be as private as possible in moderation.
-Announcements and bureaucratic stuff will be kept to a minimum.
-Open door policy for voicing opinions, even negative ones, about something going on in the group (including admin or mod behavior). Just do it in DMs.
Feel free to reach out to myself or any member of the mod team for clarification.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
All bans for non serious offenses prior to relaunch have been overturned.
