About
Crime Alert Kenya (Group) is for people who would like to be kept informed and be alerted of Crimes taking place within Kenya and other parts of the world. It is a group platform where we can share and learn… More from each other how not to become a victim of crime.
The aim of Crime Alert Kenya ( CAK ) Group is to vigorously promote crime prevention by providing crime awareness information, safety-related information and to spread awareness, and try and help millions of people in Kenya and around the world and to learn how not to become a victim of crime.
It is our expectation that Crime Alert Kenya (CAK ) will become a household name and a simple reminder that all of us need to take some part to "Keep All Our Streets Safe".
The main reason to join this group is to form a principal minded alliance with like-minded people who are motivated in the same cause for justice. There is a lot of power in the numbers and much can be accomplished, learned and one can gain awareness from each other's own experiences, through this forum.
We, like you, are sick and tired of watching and hearing on the news day in day out about criminals committing these crimes and taking advantage of good ordinary innocent people. It is also dis-heartening and sometimes aggravating that too many people are either ignorant of the fact that crimes do not exist or are of the mind-set that "it will never happen to me". That sort of attitude further exasperates problems when the victim is un-prepared, is caught cold and has no idea what to do, whilst criminals keep taking our advantage, through victims lack of knowledge or actions.
We would like you to form a conviction that "awareness" is the first ultimate step in the fight against crime. As we become more aware, that would automatically either "eliminate the opportunity" by making it harder for the criminal to commit crime or this would, in turn, make the criminal more aware of your preventative measures /presence or your consequent action/s, subsequently jeopardizing offenders opportunity. Let us "spread the word" and start to win the war against crime.
Crime Alert Kenya also supports and will help in creating awareness to Human Rights, Women Rights, Children Rights, Animal rights and crimes against humanity. This group will share information from all organizations supporting Human Rights and any other affiliated group/s.
We certainly expect and will much appreciate active contribution from all our members. Let us make this group platform/forum a desirable one for all of us to work amicably with, on this family/group and also on an individual’s base. Crime Alert Kenya (CAK) is open to new members, but will first have to seek approval of the Admin -> Harry Hirani.
