About
This group exists to post anything related to the history of Commodore International, Ltd or any of its subsidiaries like Commodore Business Machines, Inc. Basically, the organization that brought you theMore consumer computer products of the late 70s to the early 90s.

This is not a for sale group. It's also not intended to be about anything that has happened with the sacred Commodore name since the original company filed for bankruptcy in 1994. If there's a modern device that pretends to be a Commodore computer, this group does not care. This group exists to cater to people who are interested in products that were released and events that took place relevant to Commodore from 1958 - 1994.

Exceptions to the above:

1. Events related to key people from Commodore which fall outside the 1958 - 1994 date range. Bil Herd visiting the MOS technology site in 2017 is relevant. Jack Tramiel founding a company that wasn't Commodore in 1954 is relevant.

2. Products or devices that interface with Commodore hardware from 1958-1994. These products don't need to be made by Commodore and they don't need to fall within the given date range as long as they interface with a vintage Commodore. Feel free to talk about your ISEPIC replica cartridge or your Zoom Floppy or your Promenade or your MSD dual super drive or your 1541 Ultimate.

This group is also not limited to Commodore consumer computer devices either. If you have anything made by Commodore such as a typewriter, adding machine, calculator, thermostat, handicap stairlift, office furniture, watch or copying machine, please share pictures with the rest of us.

The most important thing worth mentioning is that if you are a former Commodorian we want to hear from you! We want to hear stories of engineering meetings, of who stole someone's lunch from the office fridge, of who slept at Commodore's headquarters instead of renting an apartment, etc.
