This morning, your alderperson got an invitation from Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa’s office to attend an Aldermanic briefing on the Civilian Police Accountability Council (CPAC) ordinance. #CPACNow
We’re… More calling on you to contact your alderperson and demand they attend one of these briefings. They will provide an opportunity to sit down with the legal drafters of the bill and ask any remaining questions in a smaller setting conducive to more in-depth conversation.
Please join us this Wednesday for an all day phone and email zap. And then continue to contact your alderperson up to the last briefing date - January 11th - until they commit to attending a briefing.
Don’t know your alderperson?… More
