Welcome to our Educator Collective. We are a group of educators from all over the world sharing our expertise and supporting one another.
We seek to empower educators as effective leaders of learning within… More their contexts.
Mission:
Maintain a global platform for continuous educator development with intent to inspire authentic, purposeful learning and learner agency.
The objective of Global Educator Collective is to contribute to educator development through collaborative learning shared in best practices, pedagogy, shared resources, strategies, experiences and perspectives through a safe environment that builds understanding.
This is still a very new group which formed out of crisis. The current administrators and moderators are simply people who stepped up in a time of crisis. The world is in a time of rapid change and evolution. This group reflects that. We want to diversify the leadership of our group and we also need more volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
Volunteers in this group are full time educators whose first duty is to their own family and health, and secondly to their schools and students. In their spare time, they carry out a range of roles and tasks in the group and contribute in many ways.
We respect that this group may not be for everyone and we understand that there are multiple perspectives. Read our rules and please be open minded to learn from others and also interact positively and constructively.
