Unless I'm mistaken the Public consultations were announced on the 28th Feb in the Burnham and Maldon Standard, which was months before dates suggested to industry experts in meetings with BRB. The first consultation went ahead 5th March.
The first Covid-19 case in Italy was 29th January. It was widely reported and obvious to most this Pandemic… Meer was coming our way. I've sent this to the Standard today, I hope they publish it or one like it, please send more.

If anyone is still thinking that moving off the island is a safe option in case of Bradwell having the new nuclear power station built, think again:
No officials will let anyone know in time to get out of any danger zone, that would stretch for many miles.

MANY Thanks to top law firm Leigh Day for lending their weight! PLEASE PLEASE consider making a pledge no matter how small, this will send a strong message to Cumbria County Council that we are deadly serious… Meer about stopping this Coal Mine Near Sellafield ! If pledges do not meet the £1500 target monies from cards will not be collected. If it does meet the target and the Council does the right thing and says NO to the Coal Mine then the monies will be transferred to another CrowdJustice legal case of our choosing.

Bradwell nuke plans. Have your say - dont let this be done deal. Closing date for public comments on the application is Nov 10th. "How can the same council that turned down a temporary tea room on a Hythe boat… Meer because “at risk from flooding”, even begin to think they can support investigations for permanent buildings and extensive infrastructure for a hazardous and complex industry, when even the evidence given in the application confirms most of the site and approach roads risk being 3m plus under water?"

Following a recent discussion with a fellow member, I am open to discussion regarding the clean up of our estaury. We believe that the Envirnmental agency and Magnox have a moral responsibility to make right the damage they have done with the past 18 months of fed disharge which is currently sitting on the sea bed. Considering the whole process has cost the tax payer 100 million already to absolutely no gain to us whatsoever, I believe they owe us this clean up and a big fat apology. Who is with me?
