What is Refresh?
Refresh is a policy discussion forum with the express aim of reinvigorating support for free markets among young people in Britain.… More Opinion across much of the UK’s political spectrum is turning against free markets, and young people in this country are continually painted as only being interested in statist solutions. Refresh rejects this kind of thinking. While we are apolitical, we focus on how capitalism can be harnessed to improve living standards, create freedom and unleash the potential of individuals.
Refresh welcomes contributions from all sides and encourages debate. However, Refresh exists primarily to promote good policy. We want ideas that, if put in place by governments in Britain, would have a real and positive impact on this country. Refresh does not exist to negatively target individuals or groups, but to challenge closed thinking. We want radical ideas that cut against the political grain, not personal attacks.

How does Refresh work?
As part of our plan to encourage debate and free thinking, Refresh will commission policy pieces from some of the brightest free-market minds in British politics and policy. We will bring these to you through our Facebook group, where we want all our members to engage with, discuss and dissect the policy proposals.
Nevertheless, Refresh is not a top-down operation and we want our members to not only take part in discussions but to lead them and propose policy solutions of their own. Our desire is to bring together those who already have a voice in Westminster with those who should have one, and link the British political bubble to those outside of its usual territory.
Refresh will strive to bring our members together on a regular basis and create a community of like-minded radical thinkers on free-market policies. Refresh is not simply an online community, but a real world network of politically engaged free-market backing individuals.
